About Paul
Paul is the principal of PBT Tax Solutions accountancy services, who act for taximanager.co.uk; they are registered with HMRC as authorised return providers for both Self Assessment and Making Tax Digital (MTD).
After a career with HMRC - in Debt Management, PAYE compliance and finally as an Inspector of Taxes - Paul brings a depth of experience in tax compliance in the taxi and private hire industry. A typical high street accountant may only deal with a handful of tax enquiries in a career, while Paul has completed thousands of reviews for HMRC. That experience led in 2010 to a simple, purpose-built way to help drivers with record-keeping.
What sets TaxiManager apart from other software is that it is designed specifically for the taxi trade and has been refined consistently since launch.
Through TaxiManager, Paul advises on the product’s tax logic and authors the Guides - MTD, expenses, benefits and practical topics for self-employed drivers.
